These are not really 60mph down the highway lights, I'm thinking. They are more of a supplemental light, additional light. I have these mounted on my Expedition2 eBike, on what I'm calling my "Quadrophenia" modification/addition, my work-in-progress which will support more mirrors and additional lights, along with a 12V battery to power it all. Not letting winter darkness stop me from riding. (Winter cold might be a different story...)I think this was 20W for the pair... or 10W each.Math?W=VA --> 10 = 12A --> A = 10/12 = .83A each, or 1.66A for 2.My 20Ah battery: 20Ah / 1.66A = Up to 12h (of battery light) per charge.Nice focused beams. Didn't get an after-dark pic yet, but these already blow away the included light 'upgrade' that came with the bike. Will take another pic when I'm out after dark next. (This weekend? Battery box comes Friday.)
These are working great on my motorcycle. I just completed an 8 day trip and they worked flawlessly. Dropped the bike several times while riding offroad and they didn't skip a beat. They light up the road and my bike is now much easier for drivers to see. Hopefully they will last a long time.
lights came earlier than expected, mounting was a breeze
Cool lights! Great side spotters on my jeep for wheeling
These are tiny and very bright. I installed them on a Goldwing and turning them on practically makes my headlights useless by comparison, high or low beam. Only caveat is they are driving lights, not fog lights. Do not drive with them on at night, they will blind other drivers. I use them for visibility during the day or as high beams at night. My only complaint would be the single bolt that secures the bracket to the vehicle, it can allow the lights to turn sideways from vibration. I drilled a second small hole for a second bolt that fixes this issue, but it really should be standard.
